The idea behind Daily Sudoku
The goal of the site is simple: to let anyone play Daily Sudoku for free, without registration, installation, or a cluttered interface.
The game was designed to work well on desktop and mobile, keeping the grid readable, the controls accessible, and the essential features close at hand.
The idea is to combine a lightweight experience with useful tools, such as difficulty levels, a pauseable timer, notes mode, hints, mistake checking, undo, and second chance.
Daily Sudoku was also created as a small Sudoku hub, with support pages for learning the rules, practicing strategies, playing by difficulty level, printing grids, or using a solver while studying a puzzle.
The priority is to preserve what matters most in Sudoku: a clear grid, fast responses, and no unnecessary distractions. The visual style aims to be modern and pleasant, but always secondary to gameplay.
What we value
- Clarity: the grid must remain the center of the experience.
- Reasoning: Sudoku should encourage logic, attention, and patience.
- Simple access: the game should load quickly and work without registration.
- Clear language: menus, rules, and explanations should be easy to understand.
