Choose a mode
Use Classic mode for traditional pips or Children’s mode for fruit and symbols.
Match tiles and empty your hand first.
Dominoes Joy is simple: choose a highlighted tile, tap the yellow edge where it should go and try to use all your tiles before the computer.
Watch the open ends
The layout always has one or two open ends. You can only play a tile that matches one of them.
Tap the yellow edge
After choosing a valid tile, tap the yellow edge where you want to place it.
Win the round
The first player to use all their tiles wins. If no one can play, the lowest total in hand wins.
Controls
- Mouse: click the highlighted tile, then the yellow edge of the layout.
- Touch: on mobile, tap the tile and then the yellow end.
- Draw tile: appears when you have no matching tile.
- Pass: becomes available when the boneyard is empty and you have no valid move.
- Sound: use the sound button to turn effects on or off.
Easy vs Hard
On Easy, the computer plays more casually. On Hard, it tries to block numbers you seem to lack and avoids opening favorable ends.
Children’s mode:
The rules are the same, but pips are replaced by fruit and symbols for easier recognition.
